Coupon codes help you run targeted campaigns without rewriting your price lists. Use them for seasonal promotions, referral perks, or partner discounts while maintaining clear redemption controls.

Short-term campaigns, influencer promotions, first-order discounts, and employee purchase programs.

Create a Coupon Campaign

Each coupon code belongs to a campaign that defines the discount and the valid period.

Step 1

Start a New Campaign

Navigate to Marketing > Coupon Codes > New.

Step 2

Define the Offer

Choose the discount format and limits:

  • Discount Type: Percentage, flat amount, or free item.
  • Maximum Discount: Cap the value for percentage-based offers.
  • Minimum Cart Value: Ensure healthy order sizes.
Step 3

Set Validity and Usage

Control how and when the coupon can be used:

  • Valid From / To: Limit the campaign period.
  • Usage Limit: Total redemptions allowed.
  • Per Customer Limit: Restrict repeat usage.
Step 4

Generate Codes

Create unique codes manually or auto-generate a batch (e.g., FESTIVE10, WELCOME500). Share them in marketing channels.

Apply Coupons in Sales

Coupons can be applied during quotation, invoice, or POS billing to reduce the customer’s payable amount.

Step 5

Apply on an Invoice

Open a draft invoice, select the coupon code in the Promotions section, and confirm the discount preview.

If a coupon is not eligible, Versoll Books shows a validation message explaining the rule it violates.

Monitor Performance

Track campaign results to learn what drives repeat purchases.

Step 6

Review Coupon Analytics

Use Reports > Promotions to see redemptions, revenue generated, and the average discount per order.
